Koch Air distributes Carrier residential,
commercial, and industrial air conditioning equipment in nearly all
counties in Indiana and Kentucky, southern Illinois and eastern Missouri.
Koch started distributing Carrier Air Conditioning Equipment in 1936
and is now the largest distributor in the Midwest. Koch distributes
throughout this geographic area supplies used by heating and air conditioning
dealers, installers, and repair technicians.
Over 50% of Koch Air sales are from
the sale of residential furnaces and air conditioners. Almost 12%
of the residential sales are for new construction, and 40% are from
add-ons and replacements. Commercial air conditioning units sold
to contractors make up 30% of the total sales, with parts and supplies
being the smallest sector at 20%. The ability to fill both the residential
and commercial air conditioning needs in the Midwest has made Koch
Air Conditioning a leader in the industry.
The domestic units are sold and serviced
by retail dealers. The larger commercial and industrial units are
installed and serviced by general contractors and mechanical contractors.
Large warehouses and sales offices are located in St. Louis, Indianapolis,
Louisville and Evansville.
