Koch Enterprises, Inc. Aquires South Western Communications, Inc.

Koch Enterprises, Inc., announced its acquisition of South Western Communications, Inc.
South Western Communications, based in Evansville, offers advanced building security, communications and controls systems for healthcare, educational, commercial/industrial, and detention applications.
South Western has 113 team members and branch locations in Decatur, Alabama, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Nashville, Tennessee. Todd Lucy has been named the new President. Randy Miller, who founded SWC in 1976, will continue as a consultant to the company and remains on the board.
The acquisition brings a Detention Electronics Group in Decatur, Alabama run by Jim Burleson, Vice President of Detention. The detention group provides complete security and communications systems for detention facilities. Jeff Cohlmeyer serves as the Vice President of Technology in Evansville and focuses on educational, healthcare and commercial/industrial applications.
Robert L. Koch II, President of Koch Enterprises, said, "The South Western Communications acquisition adds a new facet of diversity to our company.
