Gibbs Die Casting CorporationDecember 22, 1999 Seoul, South Korea - Gibbs Die Casting Corporation of Henderson, Kentucky, today announced the acquisition of Mando Machinery Corp., Munmak Die Casting operations, and renamed the plant Gibbs-Korea. This closure represents over 11 months of negotiations and Gibbs first international company purchase. Gibbs-Korea's major customers include Mando Corporation and Halla Climate Control (Visteon).
Gibbs is a top supplier of aluminum and magnesium die castings in North America to the automotive industry with plants in Kentucky, Texas and South Korea. |
